Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for McMillen Health.
- According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), youth nicotine pouch use has risen from 1.5% in 2023 to 1.8% in 2024. These statistics highlight the ongoing challenges in reducing nicotine use among youth, despite some progress in decreasing e-cigarette use.
- McMillen Health offers several substances use prevention programs for K-12 that include negative impacts of substance use and how to develop healthy habits. A few quotes to share:
- “This was a great and educational program for my 5th graders. They really enjoyed it and said they learned new things. Thank you!"
- - Cheryl Van Laeken, Milford School
- “The scenarios the students had to think through [created enthusiasm]."
- - Tony Lemmon, Shawnee Middle School
